How I met … Lukas & Colin
Lukas (from Germany) and Colin (from England)
The story : During my stay in Margaret River, in order to validate my second year visa in Australia, I had to do 88 days of farming work. Theses days were mainly filled up with what we call Bird Netting. Netting consists in putting protective nets above the grape rows to protect them from the bird called Silver Eye, which tends to eat the grapes after it is done with the blossom from the trees around the vineyard. Lukas and Colin were my teammates for this job. We spent countless hours pulling these nets and taking them of. Netting is not only physically harassing but it is also mentally challenging as you should repeat the same task for 8 to 10 hours a day under the heavy australian sun. Anyways I am glad I accomplished this task and I couldn’t dream of better teammates than these two guys right here to do it with me 🙂
